On this project we handled the design, fabrication and installation of all the storefront items. The large red Japanese Gateway was the main attraction and included a large structural steel frame clad in aluminum. The chop sticks were made from flag poles that were cut in half. The sushi was hand sculpted and all of the aluminum lettering was internally illuminated. One of our designers hand drew out revolving waves for the divider walls which were vectorized and turned into sandblasting templates for the glass. When the glass was finished, it was placed into divider wall brackets out front. Once we were finished, the client and Universal were very pleased with how everything came out and so were we!
